Fiber is still a few months out, but I'd like to have this planned out so that it can be implemented at the same time fiber goes in. The idea: I'm looking to create a network throughout the farm that would allow me ...

Re: Belt Sander Build
2hp 240volt, that should hog through some metal.
I think I only put a 1hp 110 on mine, but I can stall it out.
Going to make a new motor cover?

This could eliminate the need for the lower crossbar that will likely take up valuable footwell space. Not sure where the frame runs on these, it may not move...

Salem Farm Polaris Ranger
Picked this guy up at auction. Doesn't currently run, and has a bum steering rack, but it's looking promising. 2014 Polaris Ranger Diesel HST Deluxe with 546 hours. It's a pretty unique Sxs, should fit in well at the farm. -3 cyl Yanmar diesel -H/L Hydrostat transmission -Full hard cab with heat and...

Re: Battery cables and lugs
After some more digging I went ahead and ordered a hydraulic hand crimper. Will report back on the results.

Battery cables and lugs
Looking for some insight on what others are doing for making battery cables. Crimp and solder/crimp only? I’ve gotten by this far by buying complete cables on amazon or soldering on some ends, but I’m looking for a more professional solution. New to me sxs needs all the battery cables re-done and I’...
